Ursofalk
I changed to
Ursofalk
and have been happy with it for over 20 years. Today the generic was dispensed and I was told it was the same and cheaper and with the state the NHS was in I should have it.

Creatine
I am on
Ursofalk
and very well fortunately. I take Bezafibrate for itch (life saver). I have embark on a fitness journey of Crossfit and after 12 months wish to improve even more. I am advised by my coach to take Creatine and that this is natural and improves performance and muscle recovery.

strange PBC , LFT back to normal before starting Urso- anyone with similar experience?
I’m 31 and have had raised ALT on and off and GGT (ever since my first pregnancy ) (GGT highest 98 and alt highest 37) and a bit elevated cholesterol,no scaring of the liver (did a fibroscan) , every where i have looked it says your ALP level will decrease if
Ursofalk
is working.

Ursofalk v Cholurso
I’ve been successfully on
Ursofalk
since diagnosis in 2014. The active ingredients are the same but the tablet core and coating are different. Has anyone else changed manufacturers? Any issues with the new formulation?

NEW with PBC
I am trying to find a balance as I have two very small kids and I hope and pray there will be a cure with
Ursofalk
or at least a way go reverse it , the doctor said there is no way for them to know if
ursofalk
will stop the progression although it is usually slow , to scar the liver though even though

Side effects of Ursofalk
I’ve had another appointment with gastroenterologist and he’s told me to try
Ursofalk
again but start with 250mg as this is the best treatment for PBC, I’m just hoping it doesn’t affect me second time round.

Back to diagnosed!
Now after about more than two years, at last back to officially diagnosed with PBC but no medications fore me since I get very bad rashes from
Ursofalk
. It is somehow comforting to know even without medications. Hoping for all to be doing well and your medications are working for you.

Generic ursodeoxycholic acid
I asked the pharmacist why there was a generic one instead of
Ursofalk
and she told me the doctors have told them to give out generic medicine unless otherwise stated by them because of Brexit. The medicine was made in Latvia. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Good new
My GP called to tell me although my ALT is still raised it has dropped 10 + points in a month after steadily rising over the last 12 months the only thing I have done differently over the last 6 weeks is to take
Ursofalk
instead of the cheaper generic version although the drug is the same as in

Itching
I was put on
Ursofalk
, which relieved a little, but not much, of the itching. I was happily taking my
Ursofalk
until 2017, when my Consultant told me I was virtually a non-responder and that he was going to try me on Bezafibrate as well as
Ursofalk
. The Bezafibrate I take is called Bezalip.

PROGRAF (tacrolimus) - Any experience of it?
I had a massive flare up of the AIH in December 2018 which until then was well under control with 150mg Azathioprine & 1250mg
Ursofalk
But I got pleurisy & my consultant thinks being given Doxycycline caused the flare up.

Back to undiagnosed!
After staying on
Ursofalk
for 17 years developed horrible alargies and stayed with them for two years. Ihave asked my doctor if
Ursofalk
has anything to do with my alargies and his answer were highly unlikely.
