Hi everyone

Can anyone recommend a reliable supplier to buy this online?

So many out there and worried might not get authentic stuff?

Thank you

Sharon

I use Pascoe brand hydroxocobalamin ampoules from versandapo.de.

For more information, including sources of supplies, you could look up my profile by double clicking on my name and see my post, "My Experiences"!

Good on you! Go for it and look forward to feeling better!

Thank you Denise for the info! I am - it's just not worth the time and effort anymore going down GP Route!

How long does it take to arrive to the UK? And do you use Paypal? I thought Methyl B12 was preferred to all the others?

No, for the vast majority, hydroxocobalamin is just as good as methylcobalamin. Some would say it's better.

Here's some science that supports that...

Hi BrecklandRanger

It only takes a few days and I use PayPal because it automatically sorts out the exchange rates and taxes.

I'm sorry but I'm too tired to write a good reply to your other question now so I'll try to answer another time. Hydroxocobalamin is the one licenced in this country as it is found to be effective in most people with fewer problems. It is also generally easier to buy, use and store and cheaper.

I found this reply to a similar question some time ago...

"Hydroxocobalamin is easier to obtain and use than methylcobalamin and is cheaper. In most people it is just as effective and often better tolerated, hence why it is the choice source of B12 licensed in the UK. If you have the genetic mutation which means your body cannot methylate properly then you can use methylfolate tablets instead of folic acid as your source of folate, along with the other vitamins and minerals you will need, especially potassium and magnesium, maybe iron, to make the extra B12 work.

I have bought hundreds of good quality hydroxocobalamin ampoules from versandapo.de and have had excellent service. Their website automatically translates everything into English for you if you click on the Union Jack icon. I set up a PayPal account to pay for it and this works out the exchange rates and taxes for you so it's very simple. It took me less than 4 minutes to reorder yesterday and I know it will be delivered by my postman within a few days."

I strongly recommend you look through the replies from Gambit64, Foggyme, Sleepybunny, Polaris, Marz and others who have written excellent replys to similar questions in the past as they provide lots of useful information.

What is best is what works for you. We are all different and some people like clivealive do much better on Cyanocobalamin, whereas it hardly works at all for me.

Methylcobalamin injections seem to produce reports of unwanted effects like headaches in more people, despite fewer people using it, but others can't survive without it!

I haven't heard much about adenosylcobalamin injections but know Gambit has used some form of it to good effect, in addition to her other sources.

PS I trust you live somewhere sandy, north of Bury St Edmunds, as opposed to me who lives in a clay area to the south of the town!

Thanks for that! I'll order from them later on.

I do live close to Bury, where Thomas Paine used to live!

Love your squirrel!

Hope it all goes smoothly and you get them OK next week - you should do.

I use the Pascoe brand stronger 1.5 mg in 1 ml hydroxocobalamin ampoules so I don't need to do more than 1 jab per day but there is more choice in the standard 1 mg in 1 ml standard ones and they are cheaper.

Any questions please ask!

Denise
