Was it in your lower back? I've had probably 5 steroid injections for lower back pain over the last 3 years. They do definitely help.

I’m really pleased to read that the steroid injection has worked for you.

I have 6 injections into my neck discs some years ago now and it was extremely successful.

Like you so grateful to the NHS

Good luck for your future xx

I am so happy that the injection has helped you. The NHS have done nothing to help me, just left me disabled with no help at all. I have been waiting to see the pain management team for nearly 4 years and I received a text message to say that they are not willing to see me with no explanation, I have had to go to see my specialist so that they can refer me again. It is ridiculous, I struggle to walk and I am in constant pain and try to hold down a part time job. I wish I could get a steroid injection, but I will probably have to wait another 4 years for that.

Hello, can your GP give you steroid injection? 🤔

No, it has to be a guided steroid injection which can only be done at the hospital, I have had one previous for my hip a few years ago and it worked, I have no pain in my hip at all now. The problem is I finally saw a doctor in the pain clinic and he won't even put me on the list because of my CRPS it is just an excuse because when I had it on my hip I still had that condition. It was a waste of time going, all I am having is a possible referral to a hospital in Liverpool, I live in Manchester, so it is a bit far to travel to be told yet again I have CRPS.
