Throat hurts

When having my evening meal last night, I ate a potato which was very hot and burnt my throat.

I hurts when I swallow as if i have for a sore throat.

Yes, it sounds like you have burned your throat. It will heal on its own, but try not to eat scratchy things for a few days.
