Throat pain!!

Good evening! For the last 6-8 weeks, I’ve been having this pain, thick feeling in the right hand side of my throat/neck. I’ve had penicillin antibiotics from the doctor which haven’t helped. I can’t physically fee a lump but when I swallow it feels like a lump is present in my throat. It’s not always ther, comes and goes. But gives me some pain now and then...... had thyroid blood tests done and were clear. Along with others. Waiting on an ultrasound. Anyone have an idea what it could be and why?? Just looking for advice. Thanks

Hi there , I had symptoms like you when given a tablet for my arthritis. Ended up at emergency clinic to check for throat cancer , once I stopped the tablet it went away and no more trouble since. Not saying thats what it is with you especially as its intermittant, could it maybe be food related or GERD. I would see the GP again if you are concerned. Good luck with resolving it.

It comes and goes but mostly present on a daily basis. Not a day goes by it’s no here. Although disappears for a few hours then back. I’m waiting on a colonoscopy for inflammation on my bowels, unsure if it would be related to that...... I get that tmoro so will see what the find with that. Thanks

Good luck tomorrow, it might be related as somethings to do with the throat do originate in the upper bowel. See how it goes do let us know how you get on.

See a chiropractor. They should be able to give a useful opinion.
