If ever you have problems breathing or swallowing, there is a reason for concern. Phone 111 or 999, and get some urgent advice.
It’s only trouble swallowing when I think about it too much and it’s not really trouble it’s just tight I don’t have issues swallowing food or anything
I would still speak to my GP, as if you are having concerns over swallowing saliva, there may just be a reflex action that needs tweaking.
If this gets, in ANY way, Worse- SEE YOUR DOCTOR! Breathing, apart from maybe getting air itself, is the MOST important 'Thing' you do....Remember that! I'm tempted, VERY tempted, to say 'See Your Doctor Anyway'. Actually yes DO make an appointment Beachlover08- you can NEVER be 'Too Careful'.

Feels like a bump in my throat sometimes as well
A trip to GP . There is always the walk in centres if you have one nearby. Best to get a quick check.
Do you suffer from reflux or indigestion? That can affect your throat too.
I had some trouble swallowing and breathing through my nose.I saw my Dr and was referred for endoscopy as Day case, where they put a tube down your throat.Luckily it wasn't anything serious but I was told I had a slow swallowing reflex & I have to remember to eat slower & chew more.On the nose side, I did not realise that I had a curved septum between the 2 nostrils & also allergic rhinitis which swells the nose lining. Sudafed nasal spray is good to reduce the swelling but I did have to have an operation to straighten the nasal septum. Try the spray for the nose 1st but do get your GP to see if you need to see an ENT specialist. Good Luck
