Old Pain 2Go

Hi all. I have been in chronic pain for years with degenerative disc disease in lumbar spine. About to go down the major surgery route when I was offered a session with an Old Pain 2Go therapist. I would urge you all to have a look at this - I am pain free after about 10 years!! I have been playing on the floor with my grandsons ; walking around a shopping centre; sleeping a full night!! I am in no way affiliated with this but went to see him with the thought if I get a few hrs pain free then it's been helpful. But to walk out pain free and still be in that place 4 days later. Life is good.

If it works good. Not sure if it works the way it claims. Suspect, relaxes muscles cause of generating pain via skilful means. A number of people have spoken of sudden pain free days out of the blue. Wonder if this causes same mechanism.

Hope your new situation lasts a long time Mary.

It's not about massaging your back. It's a no touch treatment.

Is it like Reiki as that is like no touch? I am from the UK so maybe it is called something different here xx

Really honestly I am telling the truth. I can't believe that I am pain free. My condition will never go away but I am pain free. Half hour of simple treatment!! I am in UK too. Have a good look at the website and feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

I have found a therapist in my area. It seems like hypnotherapy. Could you please tell me how much it costs as I did not want to get too involved at this stage. Thank you xx

Very impressed and have read up about it on internet.

Have booked an appointment for next week. Will let you know how I get on. Have been in pain for 40 years

I too have been a long-term sufferer (more than 4 years) from DDD, chronic sciatic neuropothy, etc and found that extensive medication, spinal exploration and decompression, caudal infusion, etc had very little effect on the pain. For quite some time now I have been managing my condition with a mixture of exercise, mindfulness and appropriate short rest and it has helped me to have a reasonably active quality of life albeit taking care to avoid certain activities and pay close attention to what my body is telling me. I would still like to be able to reduce my pain further so I am interested in what you say about OldPain2Go. I once contacted a local practitioner but I was put off when I found out they were affiliated to a Hypnotherapy Organisation. I have found in the past I am not susceptible to any forms of hypnotherapy or mind manipulation by autosuggestion techniques (maybe this is an aspect of my engineer's logical brain) but perhaps OldPain2Go is something more than that. Would it be possible for you to tell me a bit more about it? Could you also tell me if you have to keep going back to the practitioner or can you practise the techniques yourself?

There is a lot of info and videos of people who have been helped on the internet. Worth looking at.

I did research it at the time, and looked at info. on the web, but I was not totally convinced from what I found that the technique definitely eradicated chronic sciatic pain when there was probably still the underlying cause(s) like degenerative disk disease, nerve compression or nervedamage.

I have, however, been encouraged by the experience of ScottishMisty who told me that, after one session, she was pain - free for several days and enjoying her "new life" . I would like to hear if she is still pain-free.

I would also be very interested to hear how you get on with your session next week. Please let me know.

I wish you well and hope you have success from the procedure.

What a great result you must feel so much better mentally as well. It is like a burden you have carried has been lifted and you are free. Long may it continue.

Hi Sheila

Me again!

No significant progress since I last communicated with you and been told I will have to wait at least another year for scs.

Thinking about trying OldPain2 Go and wanted to know how you have been. Are you still pain-free and have you needed any more sessions?

Best Regards
