Where to begin? I think with my husband, for several years he has been receiving treatrment for type 2 diabetes by taking metformin and a daily injection of laraglutide (spelling probably wrong) alongside this he takes a host of pain medication including anti depressants. For the last three years he has begun to feel ill at around 11am every day, it doesn't seem to matter what time he gets out of bed, takes his meds or what he eats. The Doctor seems baffled, they have tried adjusting his blood pressure meds as his BP swings from low to high, also they adjusted and changed other meds to see if it was a conflict caused by the mix. Many blood tests have been done again at various times of the day but there seems to be no reason for his feeling so ill. Some days it is so bad all he can do is go back to bed and hope he falls asleep.
He has chronic back pain spreading into his left side groin and leg. The pain is caused by a host of spine problems and his treatments have included aqupuncture, tens machine and nerve endings being cut, all to no improvement. He says the drugs he takes only slightly remove the pain.
So where do we go and what do we do from here?

How awful for him, and you, having such a host of medical problems is extremely taxing on the physical and mental health of you both. I wonder have you ever been to the pain clinic, they are the experts on more than just pain, also on the side effects and interactions of drugs, if you have been already it maybe worth asking for a complete review of his medications and treatments, if you haven't been they are your best hope of advice and help. I think he has such complex problems that we on this site can only provide suggestions we have ourselves have tried. I wish you lots of luck and success helping him to cope with all this. Sorry I can't be more more helpful. He is very lucky to have such a caring wife
