Firstly, "Merry Christmas" π₯°. My storyso far: I was diagnosed after a blood test in April 22 for minimal symptoms just needing to wee alot! With a CA 125 of 2248 π€― and after further biopsies, scans and more biopsies Staged at 4b hgsc. My life as I knew it fell apart and would never ever be the same again πthat's the sad bit done. Anyway I did 4 carbo/plax and then had to pay private for my operation (long story but NHS onc=surgeon didn't have capacity cock up ) in London with Prof Christina Fotopoulou, she's an actual angel and saved my life!! Anyway following the operation I had to further chemo then 22 rounds of avastin along side 400mg a day lynparza π started at 600 but found it hard, I only had 3 CT scans in the 2years 5months since starting and other than that just my monthly ca 125 which is sitting between 7and 10π₯³. I have now finally finished all treatment and my last scan has come back NED π₯³π€π π₯° Amazing! But what I want to let you all know is at the start of this journey EVERYTHING seemed impossible and I felt my life was over, it was really hard to see anything past the diagnosis, the worry, the waiting, the heartbreak! But there IS a chance for us all and a new different life but it's still LIFE!!! There are women on here that are 17years into the journey after all sorts of treatments, We all need that hope to keep us fighting.
