As our dear much loved and missed Clare replied to me earlier this year, seize the day and live for the moment. Well that is exactly what I am doing. I'm on holiday in North Wales with my son and his family which includes Thomasina, my youngest granddaughter of eight months, plus Daisy the dog! We are all having a wonderful time.
The latest chapter of my journey begins next week with new biopsies, CT scans and blood tests. Since my diagnosis in January 2014 having had all the chemos and surgery available to me, it seems time to try something new. The beast is back for the third time and my CA 125 is rising quite quickly now so here we go on trial OCTOPUS π.
Anyone who has read my posts will know that I have pushed very hard to be included in trials. As I was not able to go on the ONYX trial this was the next best thing for the present moment. Please keep your fingers and toes that this will work for a while. I will let you know how I get on.

Hi Lynne. It's good to hear that you are having a good holiday with the family before your next round of investigations and treatment starts. I hope the Octopus trial goes well, I was hoping to be part of this too but my cardiac function wasn't up to it. Fingers and toes crossed for a good result for you. Take care. Ali xx
Hi, Myself and my husband love NorthWales we have friends who live near Abersoch so I hope you continue to have a great time with the family. Really sorry to hear about further reoccurence and I am crossing all I can cross that the trial gets you into remission. LOVE Chris
I wish you all the very best with the Octopus trial. I'm excluded because the trial doesn't accept carcinosarcoma (MMMT) patients. I love North Wales, it's a wonderful part of the world. I climbed Snowdon just six weeks before my diagnosis......Enjoy yourself.
Lynne, I literally feel positive energy coming through your post. Honestly! You have a bright and upbeat attitude which helps keep those nasty stress hormones at bay and in turn helps your body to defend itself. Hugs to you. T
Have a really good holiday, they're important to us. Good luck with the trial. Love the attitude it's a great way to live. Keep well lovely β€οΈXx Jane
Not really, my dad spent much of his childhood on Anglesey but that's as close as it gets π. I call some people lovely because I think they are. I do really like Wales though, enjoy β€οΈXx Jane
