I havnt been writing for a while but was sooo happy to find I am clear 3 months post carboplatin+paclitaxel. I was diagnosed with stage 1a back in Dec 2017 so I am aware many of you are more advanced although feelings must be just the same prior to ct reviews: absolutely frightened propably more so they prior to diagnosis, as now we know what is all this big C about. I was advised that my CA 125 will not be taken anymore (Royal Marsden Ldn) as its not reliable in my case: mixed epitehlial high grade 2 (adenocarcinoma endometrioid, with elements of clear cell and serous). Are any of you in similar position? Despite of initial large tumour of 18cm my CA125 was slightly raised at 54. I guess dr are right not continuing with ca125 blood tests. Have a lovely day all of you X

Great news! So happy for you! 😊🎉xx Gina
Good news like yours is always wonderful to hear so thank you for posting. My oncologist agrees that the CA125 is not a good indication of progress/regression for me but I'm still obsessed with it. xxx
HI, all ways like to read good news keep it up..take care Lorraine xx
Good news, so pleased for you xx
Congratulations xx brilliant news you must be relieved xx
Great news! Long may it continue 🍾💐 Jennyx
Ca125 is not an indicator for me. When I have had recurrences, it has not gone above 14 at the most. Di
Excellent news, you’re obviously thrilled with your good news as are we. My CA125 never went above 69, I was clear cell and the test often isn’t a good indicator for this type but you’ll be much more body aware now so that’s the best indicator for lots of us.
Keep well and enjoy the sunshine lovely ❤️ Xx Jane
My ca 125 was only 67 when diagnosed stage 3c clear cell so ca 125 is not used- although it is possible it is being monitored on the clinical trial that I am on. They take so much blood every 2 weeks I don't know what they're looking at! Hopefully you will stay clear for ever.
Yay for you. I look forward to being in your shoes!🌟
That’s great news, Marta - congratulations - long may it continue. Please keep us updated. I am also stage 1a (currently undergoing chemotherapy - paclitaxel and carboplatin) and have an almost identical histology to yours xx
Thank you all for the wishes and best of luck to all. I know this is very early days but reason to be so happy! !! Lots of Love. XXX
Brilliant news, Marta! Long may it continue xx
