I was diagnosed with high grade serous ovarian cancer in 2020. I have gone through all the various chemo treatments available (pacitaxol, carboplatin, Caelyx, Gemcitabine, Niraparib and a trial.
I was hoping to go on another trial but due to plural effusion, collapsed lung etc unfortunately I cannot now do this.
I have been offered chemo in tablet form called Cyclophosphamide and wondered if anyone is on this or has been on this and might have positive feedback.
Many thanks xx

Hi, I m a year behind you and my journey so far the same. However my oncologist is starting me on weekly placitaxel. I've not heard of the cancer drug in tablet form so can't help. Good luck and let us know how you get on xxxx
Hi Flute_7, Yes, I took the Cyclophosphamide pill every day and at the same time got infusions of Avastin and Keytruda every 3 weeks. It kept things at bay for about 9 months. Now I am on Doxil and Avastin.
Thank you for responding, that’s good to know. I will only be offered Cyclophosomide as cannot be given Avastin but really hoping I get some extra time with it.
Very best of luck with your treatment going forward.
I am on Keytruda alone right now for Endometroid Ovarian Cancer. Can you please tell me how you are doing on Keytruda and Avastin as my doctor is talking about adding that to my infusions. Keytruda has helped me a lot, all my spots are gone except for one that grew significantly in the last three months. Please reply when possible.
Hi, have you contacted the Care Oncology Clinic in Harley Street London? Add other meds to the cyclophosphamide to increase its effectiveness, now that chemo is not working. They are oncologists and offer a diiferent approach to cancer without interfering with what you are already on.
Thank you for your response. No I haven’t looked into that, but definitely something I will research. At this stage I have nothing to lose and open to all options.
Many thanks and best of luck with your journey. Xxx
