Etoposide vs weekly taxol advice

Hello warriors . My mum was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer in 2016. Followed by chemotherapy and debunking surgery. She was cancer free for 5 years, after which it returned in April 2021. After completing 6 rounds of chemotherapy she was back in remission and was put on Olaparib ( she is BRCA negative) in October. Her latest scan results shows liver metastasis and she has been offered to go on weekly taxol OR an oral chemotherapy drug called Etoposide. Does any one know anything about Etoposide? Or been in this situation? How was your experience with taxol or Etoposide? Thanks

Hello ShamilaS, my first with OC was 2014, after treatments it metastasis to liver and after more treatments clean then metastasis to spleen. Long story short after treatments and clean again doctor put me on Rubraca maintenance pill because I am Brac positive. It’s been almost 5 years and still cancer free. Best to you and your mumGod Bless you, Pat fromUS
