It's weekly Taxol plus Avastin plus Pembrolizumab/Placebo for platinum-resistant recurrent ovarian cancer.

Surgery wasn't an option due to poor response to front line carbo/ taxol... (2nd opinion by Dr Fotopoulou). It kept the disease stable but no improvement. CA125 stayed around 400-500. She had her last carbo/ taxol end of August and ct showed disease 'stable'.

As I mentioned Onc wants me to have taxol, and because I asked for another option of a chemo pill I was also given info about Navelbine.

is anyone on weekly taxol ? If so , how are you doing —- and has anyone finished weekly taxol and moved on to another treatment ???? my next option is weekly taxol although I can take part in clinical trials at The Royal Marsden .

Had debulking surgery and x6 carbo supposed to be with taxol but I was allergic to the taxol. I then had 10 Avastin infusions before it stopped working. Today was my first chemo with Carbo along with Caelyx and I had an allergic reaction to the caeylx. I’m so upset and worried.

Have any of you ladies had Taxol IV? If so, what were the side effects ? Do you recommend it? Pam 😊

Chemo to start on 02/06/23 taxol/carb weekly for 12 weeks. please share any information on just what to expect and including side effects and overall experiences. Thanks

I had 3 round of taxol developed neuropathy and discontinued treatment but completed the 6 rounds of carboplatin. Neither treatments helped my cancer. Did Keytruda infusion with Lenvima pills not working. No approved therapists left, except for a clinical trial if I qualify and am accepted?

I thought it was taxol causing it but I stopped chemo at the end of October and I've still got it. Im still on the trial drug.

Trying to get ahead of some decisions as it seems that I am a one year treatment gal...Ibrance - 1 year, Xeloda - 1 year, now Taxol seems to be giving up on me after a year too.

Has anyone here had an allergic reaction to Taxol? I was in the hospital for 23 days in late October, for an intestinal blockage, caused at least in part by cancer cells in my abdomen.

Is anyone continuing with biweekly avastin + weekly taxol buying 6 cycles. If yes, how have you been feeling?

Full debulking surgery and 6 rounds of chemo, 2 carbo and taxol the remaining 4 just carbo (huge reaction to the taxol). NED Aug 2019 to Feb 2022. Started Carbo and Caeylx (spelling!) for 4 cycles. Really really struggled with the side affects, even after the dosage was reduced.

I' ve just been offred this new trial AVB-S6-500 together with weekly Taxol, after second line chemo. Just collecting any information if anyone on it or been offered this. Am upset to loose hair again and interested if cold cap actually helps to keep some ))) Thank ladys xxx ()

After 6 months of Taxol there is no improvement in my tumours. But they have remained stable. I was giving up all hope but today my oncologist said that I’ll be starting new treatment on Monday. Cyclophosphamide & Niraparib Has anyone any experience with either?

Had a good year on Taxol and it knocked my CA15 down to almost normal but its creeping back up and my PET shows new activity. We discussed a ton of options and I am grateful there are so many. We also re-ran my original tumors through some more advanced genetic testing.

hi I had surgery 4 years ago to remove everything including my cervix, 2 years ago I started bleeding which turned out to be 2 Lgc in surgery the found another tumour on my uretha which the had to cut part of this way, after which I had chemo carcinoma and taxol.
