Update on side effects of Olaparib and Avastin
I am off the Avastin and the
Olaparib
. The side effects were growing daily. Now Watch and wait. I am so relieved. Two nights running, no sweats, no nightmares or vivid dreams, eagerly awaiting improvement in my ability to taste food and some more energy.

BRCAAWAY Trial: Abiraterone and Olaparib work way better together than sequentially in mCRPC for BRCA1/2 and ATM
So this is over three years median compared to the abiraterone arm, which was about eight and a half months, and then 14 months for the

blue lips side effect olaparib
I’ve just started
olaparib
maintenance therapy following debunking and chemo that finished in January. I have started to get blue lips. My only other side effects are joint pain (helped by onega 3 and exercise) and mild nausea. Has anyone else had blue lips? Is it serious?

lynparza / olaparib
hi everyone- my dad had progression to chest wall and his hip on ibrance after about 14 months on it so he switched to lynparza/
Olaparib
for MBC in October of 2023. He had a pet scan on 1/29 that showed a complete metabolic response.

update after 2 yrs on Lynparza and looking for suggestions...
2️⃣are there any known side effects of
olaparib
after 2 years of use? It took me 4 months to adjust to it and I am on a reduced dose. But not aware if there is any stated long term side effect of the drug.

How active were/are you with Olaparib (Lynparza)?
I started
Olaparib
today. I am supposed to start work at 40% 1st of May, and increase by 20% each month. I know that I could have some side effects with
Olaparib
, I would rather
NOT KNOW
so much about them as psychologically I usually develop all symptoms I think I should have.

Finishing Olaparib PARP after 2 years
I just wondered if any of you could share your experiences after ending
Olaparib
or another PARP. Have you had a recurrence or have you stayed NED?

Heading down hospice road too…
Next step was Lynparza (
olaparib
), started January 5 which left him a zombie, unable to eat, drink and it severely dropped his hemoglobin. He ended up in the hospital after 3 weeks on it for a blood clot in his leg and blood transfusion so
olaparib
was stopped.

Feeling worried
Then
olaparib
for just 2 yrs then it stopped working. Ca125 started to creep up ( lymph nodes ) so back to chemo which seemed to work but 5 months later its back. Told carbo sensitive so started on Caelyx. Only 2 rounds but oncologist not happy ca125 rising rapidly so now on weekly paclitaxol.

2 months on Olaparib and my CA125 has risen
I started taking
Olaparib
about 2 months ago. The first month was pretty rough but the second month much better. When I started
Olaparib
, my CA-125 was 19 about 5 weeks after my 6 rounds of chemo after being in remission for about 6 years.

Had severe hyposensitivity reaction to docetaxel so looking at
olaparib
subject to gene testing. Coming off prednisalone gradually. Interested if anyone experienced similar issues with wrists and how long it lasted.

What next? re maintenance for HGS recurrence
Would love to know if any ladies who has also been unsuccessful with
Olaparib
, what has been a successful maintenance for you? I’ve just got 2 cycles more of Carbo/Caelyx, min scan showed slight reduction not as good as hoped for. Only maintenance mentioned by oncologist is to go on Letrozole.

How long has Olaparib worked for you?
I've been on
Olaparib
for 20 months and my PSA has dropped from 10 to 1.5. It has started to rise again and is now 4.2. I'm BRCA2 mutation. I'm wondering how long
Olaparib
has worked for other people. Thanks.
