I had about a year of discomfort after major surgery but found walking helped a little. It takes the organs a while to settle down
If you are worried you should ask to be seen by your team

I think I had all sorts of weird pains and discomforts for many months. No harm in getting it checked out though.
If am 16months post op. I get occasion pain on my right upper quadrant. My oncologist said it’s just adhesions
I had some pain for many months after debulking but not severe just a bit uncomfortable. It does take a long time to properly settle down as scar tissue forms. Hope you feel more comfortable soon xx
Hi Scotty, stopping the pains depends on what you are doing to help the body to recover and heal faster. You can see a Naturopath that specializes in aiding the body with nutrition, mineral and herbs to heal or perhaps a nutritionist that will use certain foods to achieve the same thing. Worth the try. I am taking Slippery Elm to heal the gut before meal 1/2 tsp in 1/2 cup water. Takes the pains also as it aids healing. Since you had part of the gut removed I think this will work for you very well healing at the cut so lowering some pains.
It's been almost 4 yrs since my last debulking surgery I still get pain but I think a lot is from constipation issues. Walking does help me.
I forgot a yr and 1/2 ago I had to have 5 Herneas repaired. Was caused from two major abdominal surgeries. That did cause pain.
