Hi there. I had this op in November and the bloating seemed to take an age to go away. Did you have keyhole surgery? I was told the bloating was from the gas they pump into you so they can see what they are doing. I would say it took a good couple of months to disappear completely. Any pains I had disappeared after about a month. So it's quite early days for you and I wouldn't worry too much at this stage. Hope you feel better soon :)

Hi, I had similar surgery 3 weeks ago this Thursday and am also feeling/looking quite bloated around the abdomen. I am also still taking lots of painkillers! Your post has made me feel better that what I am encountering is normal! 😊

In which case I would say it's really early days! Hope you're getting lots of rest x
