Following my post last week I went to Clatterbridge yesterday to discuss the trial further. I saw the trials nurse who was very informative and answered all my questions so I have signed up for the trial. I should hear in about 3 weeks if I have been accepted. I really hope I am as I have had some sleepless nights making this decision.

Well done Ann! The next 3 weeks will seem very long but you've done all you can, in terms of speed.
The trials nurse are usually well informed. I've been impressed by any trials team I've met so far - they really want you to sign up, but they do have a holistic patient-centred approach too!
Well done it's a relief to have the decision made, the waiting is hard, I waited a little while to hear if I had been accepted on the trial I did and I'm so glad I did the trial. They do need people to take part in trials so hopefully you'll be successful. Aren't the clinical trials nurses well informed? I hope you do get on this trial. Take care and let us know when you hear. Take lots of care ❤️Xx Jane
I am so relieved I made a decision I was so wound up about it last weekend. The nurse gave me so much information and probably knew more than the Dr. I wouldn't be surprised if it is longer than 3 weeks though. What trial did you do Jane?
