I posted last month that I had applied for the NiCC trial for clear cell. Well the good news is that I have been accepted on the trial but the disappointing news is that when I was randomised I was allocated chemotherapy and not the trial tablets. I am disappointed as I really wanted to see how good this drug was. So I am now going to start caelyx tomorrow but as I am on the trial I will be very closely monitored. I just hope it works as it is 4 months since I had to abandon my last chemo and my ca125 has been rising quickly

I'm sorry that you have not been allocated the tablets. I have been keeping an eye on this trial as am Stage 3 C clear cell. Have my first post-chemo scan tomorrow.
Hi Ann, this must be so disappointing you get your hopes up just to be dashed. Ok you are being offered chemo that is a good thing but if you were putting all your holes on trying Ninetdanib then that's a bummer.
Do you know if you could go on the Ninetdanib later on if this chemo doesn't work? Fingers cross it does but if not then ask if that drug could be tried. Good luck keep us up dated take care Cindyxx
