Hi all. Im back and still feeling light headed and crampy but its all good.. Got to day prodedure unit @ 6.45 am, got prepared and went into holding bay just after 8 but didnt get inside theatre until about 9 am as nurses decided to have 'their meeting' lol. hey a place can't operate with out nurses so I was very cool with it. We all pretended we didn't know each other and it went so quick the next thing I heard was the voice of the recovery nurse who also pretended not to know me.. Fentanyl and midazolam...awesome! Plus my doc gave me dose of flagyl just in case, knowing how unlucky I was post biopsy. Plus she also made it clear that she wants me back in the clinic by Monday lol.

I had to stay for an hour as per protocol, just crampy but nil nausea and vomiting and tolerated cup of coffee (international roast of course, prepacks lol) and a bite of sandwich. So IV fluid down and cannula out with instructions not to have baths (just shower of course),use spa or tampons and no sex for 3 weeks. At that moment I cannot think of anything worse..lol I know its what it landed me there in the first place but hey Im only human. Its usually the looks of partners/husbands faces that are priceless after being told no sex for 3 weeks.

I was warned about midazolam as a lady apparently went shopping bonanza and can't remember doing it....hmn can certainly use that as an excuse lol.

I got home just after 11, had some sleep and was served lunch in bed and indulged with mudcrabs and prawns for dinner. I was also told to remain in bed with my laptop and to ring if I need anything. Poor bugger's exhausted now snoring and its only 7.30 pm. But ladies..its all about me toay and I think I can milk this for days lol.Lizaxx

My nurse said..liza you're just telling me what I wanted to hear so i can tick all my checklist here,be honest what is your pain level??lol. I had 1/10,but she forgot to ask about my pad though..hey could have been bleeding heaps...crucial info missed there.

I had a full body massage yesterday and was moaning in pain. The chick reackon, I had to many nuts, 'you too tense, no good 'she said..what do you expect haven't had sex for 2 days lol.xxx

Thank you Alison. yes,I hope next smear in 6 months will be negative. if not will deal with it. I never allow myself to get too comfortable with anything though and I usually have plan B with anything coz its just part of life. Not everything always turns out the way we wanted them to be.xxx
