Morning everyone, i think it is time for a update. Well for a start it is only 4.45am and i have been awake since three. I decided to come down here as there is only so much tossing and turning one can do. So while it is quiet i thought i would let you all know how i am.
Well it is three weeks tomorrow since my surgery and the wound in my groin has healed up nicely. I am breathing better than before the surgery which is a good sign, though having said that i still get breathless, but nothing like before the surgery. I am asthmatic which doesn't help me and i don't know if that is some of my problem now. This week on Thursday i am seeing the cardiologist who referred for the surgery at the hospital in Coventry as they don't do heart surgery in the Eliot in Nuneaton . He said he wanted to see me to see if i had had it done or not and if not i think he would have got onto Coventry to find out why, well i have had it done and am well on the way to recovery. Mind you i want to run before i can walk i have always been like that only this time i am behaving myself for once in my life. No lifting, no cutting the lawn or doing the hoovering. The suntan is coming along nicely anyway. My RA in my fingers are playing up, if it isn't one thing it is something else isn't it. My fingers are a right pain i can tell you, but my heart well that is as good as it can be post surgery. I do feel brighter in myself though which is a good thing at least as long as i don't do anything. I have done some walking which is prescribed by the hospital and i have been up the village both ways on my scooter though i was shattered by the time i got home and couldn't do much for the rest of the day, though i don't mind about that as i have achieved it which was great.
Well everyone have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine. Love to you all.xxxx

Glad to hear you appear to be well on the road to recovery and well done going to the village and back. Fingers crossed that the cardiologist is pleased with your progress. Thank you for sharing the picture of the flowers, stunning and beautiful colour. Lovely start to the day.
Good luck, will be thinking of you on Thursday. xx
That is lovely, and well done for being patient. I’m glad the scooter has had an airing and be careful for the next few days now we have the weather warning for heat. It is sunny here at last so no doubt give it a couple of days and we’ll have a hosepipe ban .lol Lovely rose too. Xxx
Great to hear from you with an update. Slow steps and as they say it's not a marathon! Best of luck for this week. Keep out of the heat and chill. Lovely roses.
Oh Sylvi, you wouldn’t be you if you didn’t try to run before you could walk. Glad to hear things are going well. Keep behaving yourself and being good 😘
So pleased sylvi to hear such a positive update from you. It's really good news that you are recovering well and can feel it within yourself. The hardest part will be to try and control how much you do but it's better to do it slow and sure than overdo and undo the good progress you're making. xx Joy
Sylvi so glad that you are slowly on the road to recovery - if you can be persuaded to behave and do as you are told I'm sure you will soon be able to enjoy doing all the things you want to - baby steps can get you there just as quickly as marching, Wishing you continued progress
Good Morning, am sure the better weather will be helping you to be a "patient patient" we all know how easy it is to do just one little thing that puts us back. Now be thankful that you are feeling somewhat better, relax (not easy) and take in the lovely flowers and nature, birdsong etc and just BE in the moment. Gentle big hugs👍😘🌹🌳☕
I always enjoy reading your news. Lovely to hear your progress , you’re such a cheerful person, you cheer us all up. . Please don’t overdo things , enjoy the sun but not too much of it. 🌞 🌞
Lovely to hear from you Sylvi and so glad you are healing and recovering well. The high pollen could be affecting your asthma as I know it does me. Good luck with your appointment with the cardiologist and take it steady and enjoy some time in your garden admiring all your beautiful flowers 🌸🌼🌺🌸🌼🌺
hi Sylvi, good to hear you are well on the way to recovery and behaving yourself! I know how tempting it is to push yourself especially when you’re feeling somewhat better but this is an occasion when extra “physio” won’t help! Keep up the good work and I hope the doctor is pleased with the results on Thursday xx
Thank you for the nice news. I always feel like I've had a tune-up when I read positive Sylvi news and see your flowers. I'm sure they'll be impressed on Thursday. Take things easy on your road to wellness. Life gets crazy soon enough.
Great to hear news of your progress Sylvi, in such a short time after a major operation. At least the nice weather has finally arrived so you can enjoy sitting out in the garden. How is Bob doing now?
Thank you for your post you have solved a problem for me and a freind. We did not know why a member of my freinds family was moved from George Elliot to Coventry hospital . Unfortunately she died of heart failure on Monday your post answered our question , so you have done a good deed for the day without realising for a very upset family. Hope you are soon fully recovered and on the way to a good recovery. xx
