HI fellow sufferers of RA. Have been through a number of lifetimes on various drugs for this wretched disease. Has anyone found that 'Humira' did not work for them? Thought this was a 'wonder' drug..had high hopes. Like to hear from you.

It just didn’t work for me it made me worse!! My CRP level doubled and I felt shocking. I am now on my third dose of Enbrel and I feel much better. It will be interesting to see my blood test results. Like you I had high hopes for Humira.

Hi, I'm waiting to go onto Humira.

Like you, I have hope of this working. I am more concerned about methotrexate injections as my body did not like the tablet form at the beginning of my illness.

Hi Shalf - good luck with Humira. I found methotrexate tablets problematic too, but every case is so different..we just have to persevere. Keep positive. Regards, Dawn.

Humira was a wonder drug for me 6 years ago. It has stopped working after being unable to take it for a while due to other serious health problems. Now in constant flare and pain. I am desperate to know what to try next. My Rhuematology are not helpful in fact almost useless.

Oh, Penelopejane, I am so sorry for your situation. I've recently had such a flare-up which lasted for 2 months - thought I'd lose my mind. Currently I'm on a mix of methotrexate, cortisone & Xeljanz until flare-up has been dealt with. A good RA specialist is essential. Keep strong. Dawn
