Hair loss with Humira

I have been taking HUMIRA for 2 months now..prior to that I was on prednisone for 8weeks following an ulcerative colitis flare up. My huge problem now is that My hair is falling out and breaking off like crazy. I believe it is from the HUMIRA. Has any one else had this issue. It is making me very depressed.

I've been on Humira for 10 years and never had that problem with it, mtx however has been a problem with hair loss, albeit only temporary, but distressing when it happened. We all react to meds differently. X

I had Humira for about a year and didn't get hair loss. I did get it a bit when I started. Methotrexate. Hopefully it might just be a temporary thing.

Seems like hair loss is more common among those taking Humira for UC than for RA. You can google for more information. So sorry for this, nothing is easy with AI. Hope you find a solution soon. Simba

My daughter switched to Humira about a year ago and started to lose her right eye brow and now is losing her left eye brow and right eyelashes. Her is thinning too. Is your hair lose only on your scalp? She never had this problem on Enbrel, but it didn't help with her eye flares, but Humira does.
