Still struggling

I'm still struggling with trying to stop! I bought a new packet of patches today with the aim of trying again. Was thinking if i put the patch on last thing at night would it help because the first thing i do in the morning is reach for a cig. A memory on FB popped up today and 5 years ago today i had stopped smoking for 6 years. A year later i went back on them. I'm so disappointed with myself but i'm really determined to try again! Fingers crossed i can do it again!

You can do it, you have done it before so you know the ability is there, keep at it, mind over matter and push through even the toughest of times.

As soon as I woke up in the morning my heart used to beat really fast till I had a smoke, now I just wake up and get in with my day and it feels great.

Determination will again become your best friend, you know what to expect, instead of panicking about what’s going to happen in the morning, find your determination to not smoke no matter what or at least delay it for as long as you can manage. Morning smoking was always my worst one to give up, I was smoking at least 35 a day, keep going you can do it again, good luck x

You can do this it’s trial and error , I don’t care what anyone’s says it’s very additive, I like cold turkey it wrks so much better in my eyes no chemicals just will power, if you wanna quit you will in your own time, I am happy for all that try, like many I spoke with who are ex smokers , there are a lot who succeed and there are a lot who fall off just keep trying
