The last 5 days were only 1 or 2 anyway, so I decided this morning that I didn’t need it.
It took me a while to accept that I’m not going to be smoking anymore. Somehow, that was very hard and emotional. So I took it slowly. I went from 25/day to 2 a day within a week, until finally today with none.
Wish me luck!

The never smoking again thought used to scare me so I just concentrated on one day at a time for the first couple of months. Champix are amazing but you also need to put in the work
Yes I think the never smoking again thought can be daunting in the beginning so just take it day by day you’ll be surprised how that works, the days become weeks and it’s not so daunting anymore. You will have good days and bad but I can assure you the struggle is well worth it. Drink plenty of water, keep away from triggers and keep active, you can do this
Thanks guys. It’s 8pm now, and I’ve still not had one.
Today a work mate that I usually smoke with had one in front of me. It was just us two. I didn’t even want one, and I was very proud of that.
Tonight is a little harder, but I’m reading a lot of things from people who have quit, and getting inspirations from you guys who are supporting me. So thank you. I really do appreciate the replies.
