Help!

I got a call today that my very special relative Bill passed away, I’m totally devastated and have had 2 drinks and are now thinking about fags. It’s a self destructive thing I think - feeling so sad.

I adored him, such a special human being.

the thing is he gave up 7 yrs ago and was on me about stopping. I know he’d hate me to have one cause of his passing.

Need support....

You done the right thing coming on here Nowandforever , you have to be very strong now as you deal with your first major curve ball. If it means stopping drinking, please do to avoid jeopardizing your smoke free journey. You will feel so much worse with your grief if you smoke.

Hi roisin

I’m not good

I totally stuffed up tonight.

And now must start afresh in the morning,

I feel sad that I failed tonight. I know I have made life hard for myself in the weeks to come.

I just had nothing in me to fight back tonight, just to devastated. He would be disappointed in me to.

Just gotta start anew tomorrow.

haven’t had one since that horrible night. A couple of cravings but I expected that.

Stop it beating yourself up it's a smoke a trip up whatever you start again the next day no problem you haven't hurt anyone so keep your chin up
