I am a serial quitter. This has to be my last quit. I want to be an exsmoker. I can do this. I am exhausted most of the time. I know it will pass.

Hi, is today day one? Are you going cold turkey?

I know what you mean about serial quitter, this has to be my 8/9th attempt. Gotta quit now, I'm using champix and it's kinda my last chance so clinging on with both hands!!

Be positive and careful about this being your last quit. The exhaustion definitely passes. I slept most of my first week. Good luck.

Good to hear from you again Dreambuilder0227 - congratulations on 5 days smoke free and well done on not giving up on stopping.......

Tiredness, restlessness is perfectly normal to be experiencing and will pass, try to get out in the fresh air to clear the head, lots of water and fresh fruit and vegetables...

As they say "it takes a thousand times to quit smoking". I'm sure you can do it. I too have been a "serial quitter" (as you call it) for many years before I finally got to the point where I seriously quit, for real.

You can do it! We are here to support you. This forum is very helpful.

Im happy to read im not the only serial quitter. Ive always felt ashamed of it. Dont put too much pressure on yourself. I think that makes quitting worse. Get some vitamin B6. These will help calm cravings and help with anxiety. (At least i think they help ) good luck and stay in touch. This helps too 😌
