Hi and thank you for checking in. It means so much to me as I had WICKED cravings tonight after having a couple of drinks with my brother. Luckily he quit smoking at the end of June so we had no cigarettes to tempt us,.

A day ago I was feeling a bit smug - thinking the worst was past and it was clear sailing! This craving took me by surprise- but in hindsight I’m not surprised as we were drinking and reminiscing and having fun.

Again thank YOU. I stayed smoke free and have a new respect for those crazy good times cravings that knock you on your knees.

Pauline :)

Thats it ccurn - for the first year, we have to keep our guard up at all times and never ever get complacent. After this, our mindset is strong enough to deal with cravings and just shrug them off quite easily :)

Hi there! Thanks for checking in. I’m still smoke free... hard to believe this as I thought I’d always be a smoker.

I feel good. Definitely a bit fatter but I’m stepping up the walking.. and I have to say my lungs feel so much better. Sometimes I almost want to run, lol.

A few cravings here and there but much better than the first few weeks.
