So the first 40 days abit up and down. Usual quitters flu, ulcers etc. Last 10 due to being ill couldnt of smoked even if I wanted to. Never been so ill in my life.

It was nice to see on my discharge letter from hospital recent ex smoker. Secondly actually watching people detatching their drips to escape the ward to get their fix. How glad am I that I didnt have to do that.

Firstly great to read, you are ok, and so wonderful your mind is thinking! Phew how can any one do that, like detach a drip, I so remember visiting some one in hospital, in the lift, was the biggest security guard along with a few others, including a older lady in a wheel chair, for all of us to hear, the security guards radio says, There’s a lady in a pink dressing gown , in a wheel chair, has been given a bottle of vodka, and is hiding it inside her dressing gown, we all looked, as only you can do, she calmly took it out and gave it to the security guard. Nothing could be done, i smile, I wanted to laugh, but I just smiled. I guess you do any thing for a fix

Doing fantastic, keep going

Hey, happy to have you back with us and going strong :)

I remember I had to have an operation to rebuild my ear drum, it was pretty major. I had a massive bandage wrapped around my head. My balance was off because the op was on my ear.

Anyway I wanted a cig so had to get up, but because I couldn't really walk properly I stumbled to the nearest wall and put my back against with arms out also touching the walk to help my balance, made my way outside just to have the cig!

It makes me laugh remembering that, how pathetic was I! X
