In this 3 months now. Dreaming about having a smoke, oh so good. (In my dream). What keeps me going is the extra money in my pocket. Knowing I am not giving the government a lot of tax dollars. I can definitely breathe better, I feel better, but really tired. I'm hoping it will go away when the weather gets better.

Hello Mad300dog , welcome to the forum and VERY well done on three months.

The money aspect has been a big incentive for me too. Make sure you treat yourself with the cash you have saved.

Welcome Mad300dog - congratulations on 3 months, huge well done!! (can you confirm your quit date for your milestone badges).

The money wasting incentive is great alright. You should start feeling somewhat normal in another couple of months - takes time for the body to heal and repair, bit of exercise every day in the fresh air should help with the tiredness.

Keep us updated on your progress :)

I found that gradually, from about where you are now in your quit, the thought (or the dream) of having a smoke began to gradually lose its power. This was an almost imperceptible process, however, it was happening.

I would guess the same thing will start to happen for you.

I quit over 4 years ago, and now I don't think about me actually smoking - even if I am watching someone smoke! (I know you don't believe me, but it is true!).
