Three months is brilliant you should be well proud of yourself.

Life is so much better without having to top up the addiction 20 odd times a day :) I am still on champix just half a tab a day. Did you find that you put on much weight? Ive put on half a stone already

Hi Jason,

Sorry about that, nearly missed this one! Three months is fantastic (almost there myself!). I too have found a bit of extra weight since saying goodbye to the cigs, so I'll be working on that next. Loads of the MMQs still doing really well. we'll have to get a roll-call going soon.

Stay strong

Well Done

Hey yeah, am a MMQ and on Month 3 today, what a great feeling.....Kaz :D

not an mmq but a dfser! Well done to you. Put stone and half on! Am a week into weight loss plan. Worse than quitting smoking!

hey there, well done on 3 months!! It is great that so many of the MMQ crew are doing so well (and everyone else too, not leaving anyone out!!!)

I put nearly a stone on but have joined weightwatchers and lost 8lbs so far! :)

Well done that is brilliant and it feels really  when you reach goals here's to your next one cheers

I'm glad I found your post peelsecurity. I'm on the last week of the course with only 5 Champix tablets left and today the reaction was bad enough that I took the day off work. I've been trying to find out what effects if any there might be with not completing the course as every single tablet I've taken has given me nausea and in the first few weeks I was lethargic, sore all over and even had dizzy spells but I prevailed and have made it this far. Now I just want to throw out the last tablets. I'm extremely confident that I'll never smoke again but was a little concerned about any coming-down effect after Champix. There's been a few horror stories about so it's good to hear the successful and happy ones.

Anyway, congratulations on your success, I've decided that Champix has completed the job for me so I'll see how it feels in the next few days/weeks without them.

Hi Steve :D

I answered your post on the other thread for you as well but you should be fine coming off the champix that few days early I only took it for 9 weeks and as I kept forgetting to take them stopped altogether

I had no problems at all with that and no desire to smoke again either

I know of many others who also stopped taking it before the course was finished with no problems at all
