Hasnt been too bad today until now.
Just had dinner and now having a horrible bout of cravings. Decade old nicotine rituals kicking in.
Off for a walk with the dogs.......to take out my grumpiness in private π‘π‘π‘

Ah the old after dinner craving .. I used to have a chew on fruity flavoured gum - mint just didn't do it for me ... it helped a little, kinda signalled the end of the meal ... worthers creamy filling sweets also helped lol ... enjoy your walk!
Good way to deal with them, going for a walk. You're allowed to be grumpy...would be surprised if you weren't!
Back from my walk, feeling a lot less grumpy π Even though it peed down the whole way πππ
Today's feels so long, which I can remember well from the last time I quit.
Cannot wait to just go to bed to be honest! Work tomorrow, but that's not too bad as I haven't smoked there since going back to work at the beginning of May.
Thanks to you all for supporting me through day 1, it has helped enormously.! Just a few more tough days getting over the physical side of things, then it's just all in the head.
I am so going to do this! For me, my wife and my kids π
Good for you Andy, they say it takes 21 days to break a habit, so all the feelings you are going through are perfectly normal. I can relate to the days being so long at the early stage of my quit, sadly, I couldn't wait for the weekends to end and get back to work! What helped me was setting myself a to do list that I had put on the long finger for months.
Long days and wanting to go to bed...I remember that so clearly - sometimes every minute seemed to last an hour. Well done for getting through it! It does get easier
Hi again
I found that eating fruit or something sweet after a meal helps with those cravings. After dinner cravings and after bed exercise cravings were and still are the worst for me. I must admit when I stop and think about it there nowhere near as bad as they were 6 weeks ago. Good luck with those cravings. I think the first couple of weeks all I wanted to do was stay in bed so I guess it's just another thing we all need go through
Cheers
STRONGS...!!!! and even the dogs will be glad if the grumpiness is away and gone...!!!
