Hi all

Thank you so much for all your prayers and wishes for rain ....we received 76 mm rain (3 ") Saturday which is more that we had for the whole Year so far... It will carry us through the next month....

It is very unexpected because our Rain season is Oct-April. IT must be your highly appreciated prayers... Thank you !!!!

Very nice Roisen and soooo thankfull...it relieved so much stress...Yes for us that is a very livable nice temperature....our air conditioners are set at 21⁰C  I think you have seen our heatwave at 47⁰C ..That is unbearable and very uncomfortable...!!

I can only imagine the stress Hercu, must be horrendous, yeah remember you telling about your heatwave, would not be able to cope with it, heat is just nice now for me anything hotter and I start the typical Irish complaint 'ahhh, its too hot!'  Our houses here are not built for hot weather so no air con and have to have every window in the house open!  ;)

excellent news.so happy for you 😊 😊 😊

you deserve lots of rain ha ha

Happy for you Hercu. Living in the waterlogged UK it still sounds weird hearing somebody pray for rain...but I'm very glad you got it. Know how much it means!

I love the picture - did you take that?

Hi Nozmo.. Thank you so much and yes strange world. Canada is burning, The UK is waterlogged and flooded and Africa is blown away as dust. Yes I took the pic because it was such a beautiful site to see water running between the bananas again I could not resist.

Hi Tracey...Yes like in all agricultural development Bananas are also manipulated to be smaller. The natural banana plant is huge (Up to 5m) but we are planting the Dwarf Cavendish cultivar.

Makes it much easier to work on.

Hey ladies, think you are right Tracey3  , from what I remember from Hercu posting last year, they are banana trees and thats his very successful livelihood we see there in the picture.   He has a huge workforce which he adores and treats so well (just from reading your posts Hercu ).....:)
