Day 8 (again)

nsd_user663_40832 profile image

It has took me 2 1/2 years to get another quit going. Glad I have, 5 days on patch 3 days on CT.

Feel ok on the whole, some anger issues, managed to get both my mum and wife hang up the phone on me yesterday within 20 minutes!

I know there will be some hills to climb, but hoping to keep on the path.

Good luck to all

Welcome back and good luck Andrew.

Sally

Welcome Andrew :)

I didn't know you last time around and it is very nice to (virtually) meet you. I'm so glad you've found your quit mojo again and I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say we'll be rooting for you and very much looking forward to sharing your journey with you (both the good bits and the bad). I'm sure you know from your previous experience what a fab bunch of people are on the forum and that you can rely upon them to boost your confidence and support you through thick & thin. :D

I'm sure your mum and wife will understand and cut you some slack- in fact, I'll bet they're both extremely proud of you.

You're doing wonderfully well and all you need to do now is- as forum regular Tracey once said- just keep going. There's no secret other than that and before you know it the Penthouse will be in spitting distance. :)

Thanks for the comments, I have forgot how helpful people can be on here, and know the "craic" with the situation, as opposed to most folk who think its should just be an easy thing.

I've managed to creep my way back in to mums good books with a grovelling text and a couple of xxx's, not sure about the wife yet, but I think they understand the reasons for being a bit on the grumpy side.

To be honest Its been good so far, I've read Mr Carr's, "the easy way" a few times and always thought yeahh right, but I feel I am getting it at the moment and enjoying the numerous benefits of not fagging it. Just the odd twinge, like something's missing.

Keep on Keeping on and all that :D

WOW small world AndrewG, you must the same one from the group, we both quit on the same day, one followed Blue on followed Red lol

How things? :)

Glad to see you are around and doing well :D
