Day 7 for me today..... I am contributing much of my success to the Chantix but hey whatever it takes. Just glad one day at a time I am smoke free. Feeling ok at the moment but I am sure that may change as the day wears on..... feeling a bit like I am abandoning my partner as I head for bed by 8:30 every night. Being a bit selfish I guess.
Just a quickie: Day 7 for me today..... I am... - No Smoking Day

Brilliant stuff!
That's what it's all about, one day at a time.
As the carbon monoxide leaves your blood cells, you'll be taking in more and more oxygen. So, theoretically, you'll naturally start pegging back that bed time, and have more energy to boot!
Is there anything you can do to keep yourself occupied?
I imagine it's fairly late (or early) where you are, so maybe a slow walk or jog if you start feeling the urges? When I'm at home, a few weights or something strenuous makes me feel better!
Stay strong.
Hi DC and welcome!
Actually, I am not tired, I guess you could say I am hiding lol. It's easier than staying up and dealing with wanting to smoke.
I am also getting up 20 minutes later in the morning so I have no time to smoke. History has shown me that these two time periods are my toughest so I am avoiding the mental struggle of even thinking about smoking during those hours by really changing my routine.
Hopefully I can go back to normal times soon. I don't trust myself yet though. Just sayin.....
Ahh, I see. In which case, carry on until you feel ready! I'm sure your partner understands!

You go to bed at any time you like. Your OH sounds like a lovely chap from what you have said in previous posts and I am certain he will understand. I bet he's so proud of you isn't he?
