Well feeling more positive today than I have ever felt in a quit for a start I managed to do the ironing without having a head fit cos I didn't have my "cig break" halfway through... Normally during a quit I would t even entertain ironing until at least week 3 I loooooathe it! However today I found it quite therapeutic and the clothes are ironed better than they normally would be as I'm not racing trough it to have my cig!
Tonight shall mostly be spent stuffing my face with homemade stew and dumplings and drinking a fair bit of a nice Shiraz left over from crimbo!
Enjoy your evenings whatever u are doing and wherever u are in ur quit I hope today has been kind to you

Well done on getting through 4 days Donna. That was accidental wasn't it? I thought you were going to delay it until March? Well just goes to show you must have wanted it more than you realised Keep it going Donna, you know you can do it and let us help you get passed that 7/8 week stumbling block that you have.
I think I've drunk more this week than I've drunk in months! (no I'm not binge drinking or anything :D, I just don't really care for booze much anymore) I have a nice glass of home made damson gin, yum!
Thanks all yep Deb ur right it's just reprogramming our brains it's such a powerful tool we just have to show who is in control.
Haze thanks so much will definitely need it at the 7/8 week Mark, would just like to say thankyou to everyone for support hope I am doing the same for you xx

I was going to Haze but I got talked out of it and I'm glad I did too at the end of the day there's no point keep making excuses u just have to do it, there's never a good time to do it there's always a birthday/hen weekend/ holiday etc coming up I am finding as I didn't leave to much time between quits it's been a bit easier although the withdrawals are just as bad I think if I had if left it longer than 2 weeks it would of been unbearable again xx
