Omg, I can't believe the mega mega mega intense crave I had last week, all last week.
Went to Dr, and got the starter pack of Champix ( I stopped taking them 2 week July).
Now some may think its weak or silly to take Champix but I haven't smoked and if this little boost helps me ( which it has) then that's all that matters.
How do I feel ( aside from last week), I don't feel anything lol, I don't look back and just get on with the day like everyone else that doesn't smoke.
I have more money to spend on treats, you will be SHOCKED when you quit and look at older bank statements, I swear all I saw was £7.98 spa, £7.98 esso, £7.98 spa.
Its RIDICULOUS how much money I spent on smokes, silly man.
Weight do you put weight on? Its depends on your approach. You can substitute cravings with fruit or crisps/chocolate. Or a walk, I hardly touch my car on weekends, I walk everywhere ( I went for long walks when I craved, now I like walking LOL,).
Smell - does sense of smell get better? Hell yes.
Taste - in all honesty I haven't noticed a difference.
Self control self belief confidence - its weird but once I stopped I became more chilled, more confident.
Anyway hope you are all doing well.
Regards baly

three months in and still miss them, feeling very down is, any one else feel the same
Me, but it's a romantic idea of what smoking is like - we remember the good parts, having a drink in the sun with friends or something - we don't remember how expensive it is or all those fags we had to smoke in the rain and wind!!
Yes will not of smoked 3 weeks tomorrow, and what's strange is I have had my last ten pound note in my purse for a week, no fag buying, but to be honest when we buy the evil weed we also buy other items, cannot believe it have saved nearly £100 un believable , so not over drawn in the bank yippee

Ooh wow yes, did a Waitrose order last night and looked at the price of my old ones - £8.05   And they were "cheap" for fags too. :/
Then the days where i needed 40, plus the gum to cover up my fagbreath - another 50p a pack.
Used to buy a week's worth of fags in one go until I smoked more, then I buried my head in the sand about the cost, it's b.loody ridiculous money isn't it?
I hear you jillbart I’m on day 100 and it ought to be a celebration (I didn’t realise it was 100 days till I worked it out just now) but I’m sitting at work jiggling with a knot in my gut, It’s a huge crave  and has been there all day.
I know all the reasons for staying off the dreaded weed but I feel it would be easier just to have a smoke?

“the monster died this year ” I Wish!
Welcome Andy and well done on 100 days
It might seem easier to have a smoke but you can't have just one.
You're inside, in the warm, don't smell, not spending £8.25 a day on fags, the list goes on.
Me? I caved about 3 weeks ago and now whatever I'm doing, when the monster calls I have to answer or I turn into the psycho b**ch from hell pretty fast, while making my breath, hair and clothes smell, spending money I'd rather blow on clothes, getting paranoid about my fagbreath, wondering what the hell I'm doing to myself... that list goes on too.
Andy......just think of all the hard work you put into these 100 days; don't throw it all away, don't let nic beat you....kick his ass (hard) and have yourself a nice treat of some sort this evening! It'll give you something to look forward to, and then, when you go to bed, you'll feel so proud of yourself (and rightly so!) for having beaten this difficult day. Go on....a great big kick up his backside.
