As I have been having a rough couple of days I decided this morning that perhaps I needed a little help so decided I would go and buy some Niquitin minus 1.5 mg just to take the edge of the bad cravings. Went into my local pharmacy here in Spain and asked for the Niquitin minis, she gave me a single tube and asked me for an incredible 9.20 euros. Knowing that I can buy a pack of 3 in UK for £10.00 I asked her if she had made a mistake. This is the unbelievable reply I got from a pharmacist - " your better of smoking than buying these because cigs are so much cheaper than stopping" what chance does anyone have here of stopping when a health specialist advices you to keep on smoking. I didn't buy the minis, I will continue with my cold turkey quit. Obviously the price of cigs here in Spain is about half the cost than the Uk but at least NRT products are affordable in the UK
