Trouble sleeping

Since I have become a non smoker for the past couple of nights I haven't been sleeping very well.

Strange dreams and talking in sleep. I have even woken myself up.

Has anybody else had this and if so how long does it last.

Are you using anything ie NRT, Champix etc. As Champix will give you vivid dreams nd insomnia. They do pass after a few days, or they did for me, every one's quit is different.

I was going to ask the same as Jane,whether it may be drug induced. Lots of strange things happen when we quit at first but it all settles down and life becomes normal again!

I use the patches but don't wear them at night. Maybe I will take it off earlier and see if that helps

We're all so different, some quitters are really tired and sleep a lot, and then others suffer insomnia. I was in the latter group, so I sympathise. Just another symtom so this quitting malarkey.

I can assure you that this phase does pass, promise!

Went for my shower and found my patch is missing

Wander how long it been missing. May have come off on shower and gone down drain

Pleased to say slept like a log last night . Might have been due to fact i never went to bed untill 1am this morning.

Found missing patch on floor in bathroom so must have come off when got out of shower.

Will try taking it off early tonight as well.

Not sure it is always the patches. I quit CT and have had some terrible dreams and sleepless nights since I quit. But it does get easier over time maybe you just get used to it!? But I would rather sleep badly and not smell like an ashtray any day of the week! Sounds weird but just smelt my fingers ... They smell of NOTHING wooooop such a good feeling!!

Well had early night last night as was so tired.

Sleep was better, still a few weird dreams but didn't wake myself up talking so hoping i wasn't

Might speak to soon but no craves yesterday and so far non today. Yipeee.

Boss came into showroom today (non smoker) and he had a coffee with him didn't smell very good. May have been because it was black and strong but smelt just like fag smoke. Yuck
