well another milestone passed, getting very close to 12 months. im running out of steam. its such an effort to post on here nowadays i seem to have been down for ages and havnt anything much to say and im not in the right headspace to be encouraging, i hate being down and always tend to isolate myself, an old habit which i will try to change . so forgive me for taking a back seat and having a well earned rest. i wish everyone well with their quits. its good to see the october massive are still off the chokes. hope to se u all in the penthouse real soon.

I too attempted last October but did'nt have the guts to see it through so I am back at day 1 today feeling all the fears that you had back then.
Please please no going back now for any of you, as I intend to look in here for inspiration in my soon coming dark days knowing that I should be with you guys.
I would say you are sooooooooo lucky but its not luck its bravery VERY WELL DONE ALL
hey barrie good to se u back on the chain gang. we in the oct posse have been where you are , we learned from it an important lesson . just one cigarette will lead to many more. its best to stick to the NOPE rule. luck has nothing to do with it. for me its stubborness and just wanting something better, giving it a chance and keeping it one day at a time. Welcome back.
Wahey hey hey mash. Glad to see us lot of October quitters still here and smoke free. I must say mash that I've felt the same as you and only recently have I seen the fog lifting. I said to my husband it feels like I've been on autopilot for months and now I'm just fully awakening...weird. Hope things get better for you too. How's things with your sister? I hope it's better between you two. All the best to everyone else and well done to you Barrie for quitting again. I think I tried about ten times before I actually gave up this time so hopefully this one is THE ONE for you. Congrats fellow octopirates, we've well and truly beaten Captain Nicoshit methinks
