  • Hi Shelley,

Just breathe through it all, go to bed, sleep and hopefully when you wake up all will be well again. I know what it is like when you get that 'wnat' that just refuses to go away and have lost quits over it. With hindsight, usually within seconds of giving in I have depply regretted that decision.

You will be fine. Distract yourself, go to bed, whatever you have to do to get through it. You WILL come ou the otherside and will feel great for having done so.

Hope the sun shines on you tomorrow ;)

Hi Michelle, when you feel anxious do you know why? Can you associate it with something that has happened in the day to you? I think you get anxious when you feel a crave coming on. I dont think you should, because you have done brilliantly. I am not a doctor so I think when you go for your blood tests why dont you make an appointment to see the doctor and tell them about your anxiety. Dont underestimate how well you have done with this quit, we all have bad days I hope you cheer up and enjoy your Saturday night.:)

The anxiety come on when ever it feels like.. No pattern or out.. I told my doctore about it a few weeks ago he gave me Valium as I had Post traumatic stress disorder over sumthing that happend.. He did say it could take a while get over.. And with giving up smoking too he said iv bin that good not to start up again.. I shud of told him about it today but didn't.. And I'm having my bloods done at a walk in clinic or Wud have to wait 3 weeks at my docs to have um done. I set to get it worse when I'm menstrating like last time think its cuz i get animic which makes me tired that makes me tired..

Anyway not going bed not letting it ruin me life just downed a glass of wine and on me second

  • Glad you are feeling better today apart from the hangover :(

Plenty of water and you will be a tip top non smoker ;)

  • It sounds exactly like PMS to me. When I first got the withdrawals I knew I'd felt like that before and now I realise when it was. These days are long gone for me I'm glad to say. Have you tried Evening Primrose? I've got rid of the patches now and feeling slightly nervy but I think it's because I'm expecting to feel like that.

My craves defo do go worse this time of the month iv taken them and starflower oil but they dunna really do nowt... Iv always suffers thus time of month bug I suppost smoking helped tru it.. I always smoked more.. I always said it made the pain go off too.. Hot water bottle paracetamol and me fags.. Always worked for me...

  • Shelly, you know smoking didn't help you through the time of the month. Probably made it worse. Suppose I was lucky because I didn't suffer till my mid 40s. You'd think they would have come up with something that worked in the last 20 years. You can bet if it happened to men they would cure it :-)
