I suffer from anima due to having really heavey periods.. I put my patch on this morning and about half an hr after was walking uni and I started to feel light headed tingling in me face and arms.. Fast heart rate and dizzy.. So took the patch of and it's left a really mad red square now., even had to come home early as my face still feels red and feel I'll.. Does any one think it's due to being the time of the month as I think it happens last month.. As I'm fine on my patches normaly..

Allergic to patches

Yes you could well be allergic to patches, they deffo do not agree with everybody, but there's a whole lot of other stuff you can try, go back to the Chemist and tell him xxx

Best make an appointment to see your GP or smoking cessation nurse and get some advice. It does sound like an allergic reation:)

Oh, Shells, sorry to hear you are feeling so rubbish.

Hang in there if you can and do what Haze suggests. My Cessation nurse has been fantastic. Gotta be worth a phone call, hasn't it?

Shelly, have you tried an inhalator? I only use 2 capsules a week now and most of the time they are finished but I've found it a great help.

Cuz I wake up every morning well that's if iv slept and just hope I'm feeling well enuf go out and not tired and irritate. :( I remember the last time I gave up it was about the same time I started up again but never remember feeling this bad.

Shelly, I tell myself I'm lucky I can sleep. I don't know how people cope when they have to go to work. I cut down to 14 mg patches 3 days ago so today I'm feeling edgy. I know I just have to get through a few more hours and I can go to sleep and I'll feel better tomorrow. I've got some 21mg patches left over so I'm going to cut them in half and use them on Saturday and the cut down again a few days later.

You are having a bad few days that's all. Noone said quitting is easy and if you stick with it you will find that,A it doesn't take over your life B that you do feel better and C you will sleep well, but most of all you will be a non smoker and have a healthier and happier future. So no pain no gain really fits here. Please dont cave in you have done well and I promise you it will get easier!:)
