after quitting in the past i have had real trouble sleeping even when i have been quite tired, also i found i would wake up a few times in the night and also have really strange, vivid dreams.
are these common side effects of quitting and if so how long will it last for?
i have really shut the door on my smoking life now but i miss my good nights sleep.
i tend to be very busy during the days so find it hard to be sleep deprived

not being able to sleep and having strange dreams are some of the side effects to quitting
but the further along your quit you go things will improve just try not to let it bother you too much
you could try some relaxation/meditation techniques just before bed time even a warm bath and a nice soothing cup of herbal tea or warm milk might be of help
Hi iv bin quit for 2 months now and this last month iv had trouble sleeping too.. Whent to my doctors and he gave me 2 weeks worth of sleeping tablets but can only take um every other day.. I tryed everything before I went to my gp first tho all the herbal teas etc but they didn't work and I was like a zombie in the day. So try to take some herbal remedies first but if that don't work then there's no harm in going to speak to ur gp. My gp doesn't normally hand out pills but he saw how tired and stressed I was to the point of crying and nearly smoking again.. And it's bin 2 nights no with out the pills and I'm able to sleep but I still wake up reAlly early.. Iv always Bin a really good sleeper so ur not alone as it seems a lot of peopl Carnt slept after they quit
