Sounds to me like your stuck in a rut, get out of the routine somehow, go for a walk and clear your head, or make an excuse to go to the supermarket or something, anything different is good at this point. whatever you do, hang in there! Good luck and keep fighting, it does get better...
Hey Magda, you're doing so well. Hungry all the time is totally normal. I stuffed myself stupid for several weeks!
One more day and you will be nicotene free. Don't expect miracles then, because 99% of quitting is in the mind, and the habit changing, and that is not instantaneous. But physically, you should start to feel better in another day or two.
Try to do something out of the ordinary to take your mind off things, even if it's just playing silly online games or giving yourself a pedicure. The more you let yourself brood on cigarettes, the harder it will be.
Nearly two days done. Be proud of yourself, it's a huge achievement.
You're being given very sensible advice.Certainly the first few weeks can be very testing times and you have to be strong and committed.I've been through it before and quit smoking for 6 months.....but forgot the golden rule and gradually started to light up again.Dont test cigarettes in the future to see if you like/dont like them.Just NEVER smoke again and think of them as POISON.If you get cravings just accept them and sure as eggs are eggs they will get less intense and less frequent as time goes on.Take one day at a time and if you feel hungry enjoy going shopping for something tasty to eat...why not.Quitting isnt easy for most but the advantages are so enormous that the initial discomfort is certainly worth bearing.
