I get Ulcers when i am generally run down and tired. I also got them by the dozen! when I quit with gum.
It is still early days in your quit and i am sure your mood will pick up in a day or two x x after 1 week things should ease up.
Keep yourself busy and drink plenty of water. Maybe a new hobby will help give you a new and positive focus x x
The feeling of loss and bleakness are common x x
Keep us posted and forcing a smile and / or a laugh can help brighten your mood

Hi to everyone and well done to you all. On day 6 and another hard day. Just feels like im missing out and days seem to go on forever. Dont get me wrong i do want to quit and i feel proud when i get to a new day but bloody hell!!!!!! How hard is it? Just wish i had never started in the first place. Keep getting ulcers aswell. Is any one else having this problem?

Hi all
Thanks for the great forum, it's a real source of inspiration in helping to continue the struggle to finally quit for good.
Today is my Day 6 as well, like many others who stopped last Saturday night in the UK. Using patches and occasional inhilator which I find is working very well. After 20 years of 20-a-day, I decided months ago that the 1st July was THE day - and I think that has really helped me in terms of mentally preparing for this.
Bags more energy, feeling proud and WOW! that sense of smell and taste Cravings are bearable, those after meal ones the worst, but I will not succumb, not now.
So congratulations to all who have quit, and again thanks for the forum.
