I have been quit for 6 Days, 9 hours, 29 minutes and 52 seconds (6 days). I have saved £34.33 by not smoking 127 cigarettes. I have saved 10 hours and 35 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 01/01/2011 12:48
So there you go lol.
Today has been a day of want. Not a day of crave, just niggling want. I have had worse days craving a cheese toasty lol so this is not going to beat me
Have spent the evening trying to post helpfull things to others so run out of things to say about me. That's good, who wants to talk about me lol. Hope I have helped. Have talked from the heart so can't do anymore
Just want to re-iterate that now I am back at work can't post as much as I would want to. Reply & post when I can but if I miss you it is due to time not concern, ok?
Anyway, love you all, be strong, 'cos if you smoke I will have to then I winot be happy :eek::

Awww a BIG WELL DONE to you for getting this far, I too am about to enter day 7 how clever are we to reach a whole week nicotine free!
Thinking about what you say here with the WANT more than an actual crave it makes a lot of sense to me and puts my day today into perspective I had a bad day this afternoon and I very nearly gave in too I've beat myself up over it trying to think why would I still be craving when apparently nicotine leaves your system after 72 hours ( well I read that somewhere) but after reading this I realised I ain't craving either (I mean after 4 pregnancies I've experienced cravings lol) but your so right it's more of a WANT......something upset me earlier and I had to fight with my brain who was telling me to go for it just 1 won't hurt but I talked myself round it weren't going to do me any good if I had caved in and it weren't going to make me feel happier and thank god I won that battle with my mind cos here I am joining you into our 1 week quit.
We can do this I'm feeling so positive at the moment
Ignore or beat what that monster says to you ok? He has got me back so many times don't let him get you.
Now it is just a want, or a real Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr moment 'cos your p****d with something. You think it will make you feel better but it NEVER will. He just tricks you into thinking that.
Not one puff ever, NOPE. Once you start the chain you have to carry it on so don't start it xxxx
