OK, I have now decided to come off Champix altogether and go cold turkey. I don't think these things agree with me, I don't like the person I have become. I hope it's the Champix. I know I will struggle but hopefully with your support I'll get through it.....I might even sleep.

Hi Shojam,
I remember when you were in your early days quitting, time is flying isnt it?
Maybe going cold turkey might be better if what you are using now isnt agreeing with you, or maybe patches for a while until you feel back to normal again and strong enough to go cold turkey.
I hope whatever you choose you can stay strong in your quit, your enthusiasm was very helpful to me when I first started posting.
Good luck Shojam xx

hi shojam
hope it works for you .... drink loads and loads of water or fruit juice and flush that nicotine out asap three days of not nice stuff but you will get through keep calm keep busy and drink for england or scotland or wales or ireland (phew covered all bases then ) .... good luck
good luck shojam
not too clued up on champix ..however i do know a couple of people whos used it & came off it ..they were fine ........so good luck & well done on your into 2 months xxxx let us know how you do
thanks everone, I will keep you updated
Hi Shojam
Deffo come off them if they're making you feel bad - just remember not to take any NRT as you've been nicotine free for a while now
You're heading into your second month of no smoking so I'm sure you'll be fine but keep us updated.
Good luck
Hi Shojam I am pleased that you are still quitting even under pressure, you are a determined quitter and will succeed I am sure.
Doesn’t the time fly I also remember you coming on and posting for the first time, I think once you get off the drugs you will start to feel better and sleep better but you will feel so much better after the 3 month mark, don’t ask me why I just read so much that backs that theory up, and I felt tons better once i had passed that marker
Well done again keep focused and you will definately be one of the lifelong no smokers xx
thanks again.........
Jamanjie, you have supported so many ppl on here and your advice is first class. I just feel that as I am only on one tablet now, it won't be a double whammy stopping it. I hope it is the champix and not the person I am without ciggies as I have never met that person, not since I was 15
Wish me luck folks cause I know I will need it
Pookie, you are a brilliant quit buddy, always supportive and again give first class advice.......thank you
