1 year and 2 months!!

Hello everyone

I quit the fags on 21 January 2007 and this forum helped me so much in those first few weeks I don't know what I would have done without it. I just thought I would pop in and hopefully encourage all the new quitters to stay positive and carry on their brilliant work.

It is so exhilirating not being a smoker anymore, everything is so much more beautiful, don't laugh, it's true!

lots of luck everyone xx

Well done Ruby. You must feel so proud & not a little smug - I know I would. I have gone down to the lowest patches yesterday & it's like having a Dementor's Kiss. I feel like all the happiness has been sucked out of me. Oh well, onward & upward. It's posts like Ruby's that make you feel it's all so do-able and how lovely life is going to be as a non smoker.

hello icandothis

I have been quit a few months now and i can promise you that there is life after smoking, a better life, no more being bullied and manipulated, the feeling you get right after a ciggie is what you will feel all of the time

just normal, no wanting and needing, it goes, stick with it ;):)
