Anyone else joining me? :D

I was up at 6am again, got my running kit on, just need to get the kiddies to school theen i'm off. When i quit i was determined to get fit but in 10 weeks i've probably only run about 8 times! thats rubbish.

The scales used to say 8.8 which was too thin. The 'normal' the scales say 9.4. These days the 'norty' scales are telling me i'm 10.12!!!!!!!!

Not smoking isn't helping with the battle of the lard. What is more annoying is that i feel great since quitting and have loads more energy, better moods etc etc....but no matter how i feel about that there is no escaping the fact that none of my clothes fit me and if i was still smoking i wouldn't be having this problemo lol.

Anyway, today is a positive day, hope everyone is well. :) x

Hi Angel,

Just out of interest, how far can you go? Or how long can you run for?

I have done 1.2 miles but I thought I was going to die, oh I felt great about half an hour after but at the time it hurts, really hurts. I cant go any further at the moment, it must get easier surely? I've been starting to panic that maybe some people (me) just cant run?

Went visiting last night, my aunt has weigt watchers scales EEEK, it shows I have put on a clear stone, had lost some a few weeks ago, back on again! I've got a tellytubby tummy, as Pol said in my other post about eating, its time to take back control now!

I am spending what I used to on fags on shopping at tesco, time to sort it out. Good for you for your motivation today!!

Thanks Bradders, you are right there, getting out the door is the dodgy bit. Hell i don't even like my neighbours seeing me in my gear. So i drive to the horses field and run from there. :D

Shelly - i know what you mean about 'maybe some people just can't run' i've had that thought too. To answer your question i'd guess my run is about 2 miles and takes about 30ish minutes, i go around the cliffs so the ground is a bit tricky in places which means i have to go slow then when i get to an open field i go for it knowing that when i get to the other side i can rest.

Running just isn't my thing AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do it because it's the quickest way to trim up. Ooh ooh ... i have a top tip for fat busters :o get your lardy bum to the health food shop and get some Acai extract or at least google it. I've just started taking them and it's supposed to aid weight loss. Expensive though £16.00 for 50 soft gels at 3 a day that doesn't go far!

Hey Fallen Angel,

Glad to see you are running. I'm taking part in Race for Life this Saturday - 5km and i've found it a really good incentive to get out of the house and out for a run. I must admit that it is more of a power walk than a run but I'm doing what I can.

By the way, what about all the money you are saving? You should treat yourself to some new clothes!

Good luck with it all :D

Hey NSD :D as you can see i decided to stick around and stick it out after all.

Money wise i've saved loads....i'd love to treat myself! well i did get a sexy bikini the other day costing £35.00 :p and who knows if y new lungs allow it i may even run more often and get to squeeze into it lol.

Good luck with the race for life, i'd like to do something like that or join a running club.
