:)

I have smoked on and off from the age of 13 i am now 37

I am definately giving this bad habit away as this is the third attempt and the last. The first attempt i lasted 2 weeks and cowered out from the withdrawel affects. The second attempt I lasted 1 year and felt exellent, I could do things that i had never experienced, like run without puffing and tasteing food properly and saving money, etc etc Im sure your thinking So why did he start again? Well I'll tell you why "MORON" and this moron kept smoking another 1 year whilst hearing a voice saying "Now you cant breath again, Food tastes bland"

and me being stubburn saying "So what, dont need to run, who cares about food" when really i did care.

Ok its easy to call yourself a moron when you are having withdrawal symptoms and it felt good as i typed it" but the real reason is Smoking to me was a form of Hide it in the closet to those who Hurt me. I have finally realised that those situations are still with me as life is that way. The best way to deal with my smoking addiction was to seperate smoking from the closet and deal with the issues seperately Making them have no association. I am now really truely an ex smoker and its goodbye to the misely little devil "THE CIGARETTE"

The NASTY WITHDRAWAL Goblin

G day guys,

Thanks for your well wishes and i can assure u i will never smoke again

(Day 9) I have the worst withdrawal flu my chest wants to rip out and scream

and ive lost the abilty to smell and thats the worst of it as i love food  seems all bad However There is a positive side to this.

The body is repairing itself, you may have to go thru a few months of this on and off depending on how many years-smokes you've had but dont be discouraged or scared this is well worth the struggle there is an ernomous jackpot waiting for you at the end.

Hi Mrmeg. Well done on your quit so far. It will be worth putting up with the loss of sense of smell etc as once your body has got rid of the effects of smoking you will feel SO good beleive me. No Pain No Gain as they say. Seriously though, hang on in there, you are doing so well. Love. G xx

Hi Mrmeg :D

Well done you on day 9 that's great give yourself a pat on the back

Sorry you feel under the weather at the moment but the things you're feeling won't last long and are all normal for us quitters

Your body will heal itself fairly rapidly, but it does need some time to do so

Love

Hey Mrmeg,

Well done to you. Right there beside you on day 9. I've had a really sore throat for four days which I am happy to say has improved this morning. You have lost your sense of smell and I seem to have lost my taste where nothing seems to taste the same. I love my coffee and it just doesn't taste right so I will be glad when that part heals and my mouth is not so dry.

Keep hanging in there.
